The early trends suggest that Udta Punjab has picked up big time after a decent start on Sunday. The film is all set for a terrific day.

Box Office Report:

The overall occupancy in the morning shows was 50% with main contributions coming from multiplexes. This is a bit low than our expectations.

However Udta Punjab is showing tremendous growth in the noon shows. The occupancy was as high as 75-80% at multiplexes. The centers which were low on Friday and Saturday, have gained momentum. The film is rocking big time in cities like Deli, Mumbai, Mysore and Kolkata. But the trend at mass centers is not looking good.

The advance booking is good and the reports are positive too. Mostly the big films run in their full swing on its first Sunday. In this case, there was already a very high opening day. But the performance outside metros can be a concern for Udta Punjab. Though the film is only for big cities, still the performance of Northern Circuits will be the key on weekdays.

Udta Punjab 3rd Day Box Office Collection Early Trends:

Going by the early trends it looks like that Udta Punjab 3rd day collection will be in the range of 13-14 crore. Though the final numbers can vary as it will depend on how the film performs in the evening shows. There can be a drop as tomorrow is a working day.
