Tubelight will be based on India-China 1962 war

Salman Khan is all set for his next release Tubelight directed by Kabir Khan. The film was scheduled to go on floors this month in Kashmir. However due to the ongoing political tensions, the shooting was postponed.

Now the shooting will be started from July 28 in Ladakh. Kabir recently  took to his social media account to give us a glimpse of the breathtaking location where Tubelight will be shot.

As per the reports, Tubelight will be a cross border love story set in the year 1960-62 where the guy is from India who falls in love with a girl from China. It will be a period film based on the time when India was at war with China. In the film, Salman plays the lead role of a man-child who is lovingly called Tubelight. The reason why he’s called so is because the script has him playing a man who is a bit slow in picking and learning many things.
