Tamasha Monday Box Office Collection Update (4th Day):
The early trends suggest that Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Tamasha has witnessed drops on Monday.
The occupancy in the morning shows was around 20% which is a 50% drop from its opening day. The film has the best hold in Mumbai. Some big circuits like Delhi and Punjab have dropped more than expected. They were already low in the first weekend.
Today was the first working day so the drop should have been little less. And also the screen count of the film was not that huge. We have reported it earlier also that it is a danger sign that the film is not doing that great in core Hindi markets.
Still the film can recover from here in the afternoon and evening shows. As multiplex oriented film always tend to show good growth towards the evening.
The costs are on the higher side and the film still has to go a long way. But it has the advantage of almost open 3 weeks at the box office.
Going by the early trends it seems that Tamasha 4th day collection can be over 5 crore. And with growth in the evening it can go much higher.
Ranbir Kapoor starrer has collected 38.23 crore in its opening weekend. It is a good result and now all eyes are on how it performs on Monday and Tuesday. The film is doing excellent business in overseas also with collecting $3.45 million till Sunday.
