Simran had a low first weekend of around 10.65 crores. There was growth over the weekend but when collections are at lower levels, it has to be somewhat extraordinary. It now needs a solid hold on Monday as collections have to be close to Friday levels. But with that trend, it almost seems impossible.
Lucknow Central also had a poor weekend as it grossed 8.42 crores. It had better growth over the weekend as compared to Simran but the collections are still lower.

2nd weekend: 0.8+ 1+ 1.3 = 3.1
Remaining days : 0.5 +0.4 +0.4 +0.3 =1.6cr
Total 2nd week 18+3.1+1.6 = 22.7cr
Lifetime 24-25cr

Poor lady.. so much drama before the film by digging 16 year old issues, but, none of them helped in getting basic collections. Curious to know the comments from all those media anchors who were calling her as super star.
Don't you know that she is not a superstar. She is a megastar. After simran she will be a gigastar then a terastar.
