Shahrukh Khan is part of my family: Karan Johar

The director Karan Johar today said actor Shah Rukh Khan would always be a part of his family.

"Shah Rukh Khan is very much a part of my family. He hasn't fallen on the wayside. Shah Rukh his wife and three children will always be family and a large part of my life," Johar said at the ongoing 9th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival that began here today.

Rumours of a reported fallout between Johar and Khan came when the actor did not appear on the last season of "Koffee With Karan," as he had done in all previous seasons.

However, the director-producer said that his relationship with Khan and his family was so strong that it was difficult for them to part ways. "I don't deny there have been ups and downs. But this connect is so strong, the love that I have for him and his family his very strong. All relationships have ups and downs," he said.

The two have come together after a gap of nearly two years to co-produce their yet untitled project directed by Gauri Shinde starring Alia Bhatt and Shahrukh Khan.

  1. Yup SRK is a part of my family and i wish he could have shown me "DILWALE" before its release. Anyhow Jo hona tha vo ho gaya....Bade bade deshon mein aisi choti moti films flop hoti rehti hain.

  2. Hater if 150 crore is flop for u then imagine srk with strong script like bajrangi bhaijan or pk. Aamir flim without hirani and dhoom 3 is ghajni 110 crore.
But i consider salman and srk as megastar as hny prdp c.e kick all crap flim crossed 200. Even dilwale could have done that but it clashed with bajirao
Aamir real agni oariksha will be dangal. If dangal crosses 200 crore then i will consider aamir above sk and srk. Till then
