2015 has proven to be an average one for Bollywood. There have been only two blockbuster films Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. While there have been too many disappointments like Brothers, Tevar etc.

Now all eyes are now on today’s release Salman Khan starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which is the biggest and most awaited release of 2015.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was released today in around 4500+ screens. The early trends suggest that film has taken an unbelievable opening.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo Morning Shows Report:

The overall occupancy in the morning shows was around 80% in all over India which is huge. The opening was Earth shattering both in single screens and also in multiplexes. The film is running like a riot in Delhi and East Punjab with houseful at most of places. The Mumbai circuit is also showing 90% occupancy.

The family audiences are showing huge turnaround in cinemas. The opening is second best for any Salman Khan starrer after Ek Tha Tiger. The big holiday of Diwali has given a huge boost to the film. The film is sure to be Salman Khan's biggest opener ever.

Noon Shows Report:

PRDP was rock solid in the noon and afternoon shows. The occupancy at single screens was ranging from 90-100%. While at multiplexes it is around 75%. The family audience have given the film a huge thumbs up. So we can expect huge turnaround in the evening shows. As the morning shows were flooded with youth.

Evening Shows Report:

Salman Khan starrer is having a dream run at the box office. There were unbelievable scenes at theaters in the evening shows. We have never witnessed family audience in such high numbers in theaters. Even youngsters were along with their family to watch the film. The film is practically houseful in Delhi, Mumbai, Kanpur and many more places. There is not a one ticket available at single screens. However the Telugu version could not perform well and had a poor occupancy.

Now the night shows are crucial for PRDP. Tomorrow is a working day so we can expect a drop. And also the film was running in its full capacity throughout the day. We will have another update soon.

Going by the early trends, it seems that Prem Ratan Dhan Payo 1st day box office collection will cross 40 crore. And with a good hold in the night shows it can also touch 45 crore. But it seems tough now.
