Ae Dil Hai Mushkil continues to face problems as it is inching closer to its release. There are rumours that censor board has cut three intimate scenes from the film and Fawad Khan's role has also been chopped off.
However, Dharma Production has denied the news and said the film has been passed without any cut, intimate or otherwise. “There are no cuts being made to the film. No changes of any sort, as being reported. The film will release on October 28,” said the source.
Earlier, there was speculation that Karan Johar might replace Pakistani actor Fawad Khan with Saif Ali Khan after the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) threatened to stop the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. However, the source confirmed that this is not the case. “Fawad is not being replaced."
The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) issued fresh threats on Monday to filmmakers Karan Johar and Mahesh Bhatt, saying that they would beat them up if they continue to work with Pakistani artists. Earlier the party had demanded that Johar should Fawad Khan’s scenes from the film.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles will release on Diwali, October 28.
