It looks like that Kangana Ranaut is following Aamir Khan’s footsteps. First, the actress declared that she would stay away from attending or being a part of any film award ceremonies. And now, the actress says that she would do only one film a year.
News sources suggest that the actress who will be shooting for three film - Rangoon, Simran and Rani Laxmibai - this year, is finding the task quite ‘bone-breaking’. She has been quoted by a publication saying, “I want to do just one fulfilling film a year. I don't want to jump from one character to the next but focus on one at a time, enjoy the prep and let myself be consumed by her. That's enough! I'm finally financially secure and I don't have to work day in and day out. I also don't feel the need to post selfies and be in the news all the time.”
In Vishal Bhardwaj's Casablanca-like love story, set against the Second World War, Kangana plays a conflicting woman named Julia opposite Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. In Hansal Mehta’s Simran, Kangs plays a Gujarati woman; whereas she plays a warrior in Ketan Mehta's biopic on Rani Laxmibai.
