Hrithik Roshan opts out of Karan Malhotra's next

A couple of months back, we reported that Karan Malhotra has approached Hrithik Roshan for his next. This was being produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Hrithik showed interest in the project and asked Karan to work on the script. But the latest reports are suggesting that the actor has turned down the film.

This is the second time Hrithik has said no to Karan Malhotra. Earlier, the actor turned down the director’s Shuddhi after he was injured. This time when Karan Malhotra and Karan Johar approached Hrithik, the actor again decided to opt out of the film after much negotiation.

Refusing to comment on the films he’s declined, Hrithik says, “At the moment, I have not signed any new film. I’m looking at what to do next.”

Last year Hrithik has also turned down YRF's big budget film Thugs of Hindostan. The actor has not any confirmed projects except Krrish 4 which is not releasing anytime soon.

  1. His carrier is in danger
Leaving good movies and only doing father's movie
He sud do more movies otherwise people will forget him easily

  2. @Bolly Arena since last few weeks your interaction(in Web site) with the Audience/Users is on lower side or not good.....Pls mind that...

  3. hritik bhai kya chal rha hai tere dimaag me
younger actor log film pe film kar rhe hain or tum film sign hi nhi kar rhe
or rahi baat kabir k film k sath toh
after tubelight kabi khan salman ko hi direct karega

  4. Why to think too much about a film..
He has already done too less number of films...
He need to work on more films.
Hit and Flop is an another thing...
We AKKI'ans are very happy to spend our too much time in theatres..
    How about Hrithikians.... ??

  5. Yeah ...I also thinks he needs to do more films....Or else the Youngsters is going to at least equal him..

  6. hritik is a great actor but he must do more films otherwise all actors will overtake him as there is cut throat competition in bollywood

  7. no....i do not think its like that....HR is getting the weak script..... or maybe its a repeated story.... i reassure everyone that he will come with another good one with relevant subject..... for sure.... KRish 4 is already in his pipeline..... but for now...HE will sign Ashtosh Gowarikar next and maybe Kabir Khan....but Remind you he is not relying on Kabir Khan....

  8. Hrithik went from beating Khans in 2000, 2003 and 2006, to being at par with Khans, to being second to Khans, to now being second to Akshay. What next? Will he be second to Ajay and Ranbir?

He tried to do different films like Lakshya and Guzaarish. Was not his fault that they didn't work at the bo. But doing a movie like Kites and sitting on it for a year, taking gaps bigger than Aamir Khan, saying no to everyone because of money, playing hard to get, now knowing how to judge a script (Mohanjo Daro, Bang Bang) is all his fault. He is not the brightest bulb in the room.

Let go of 50cr salary. Take a share of profit like Aamir Khan and do 1-2 films every year.

      1. Yes, in 2000, 2003 and 2006 he had left them behind. Salman was going thru a lean phase and in those 3 years his films were bigger than SRK/Aamir.

2006 was his peak. In 2006 Hrithik, Aaamir, and SRK had 2 films each. Hrithik with Dhoom 2 and Krrish (both blockbusters) was huge compared to Aamir (Fanaa/RDB - both superhits) and SRK (Don/KANK - both big hits). Salman had Baabul and Jaan-e-Mann (both flops. He also had a 3rd release but that was a delayed project).

  9. i know what he will do.after Kaabil badly flopped he dont want to take risk with out side director..now papa roshan will make Krissh4...likh ke le lo...no doubt it will hit but Takla Rosahn with his calculator make Atbb.
