Housefull 3 is performing well at the box office. After a superb opening weekend, the journey on weekdays seems to be going smoothly. It will be interesting to see if it can go on to beat Airlift which is the highest grosser of this year. In coming days, we will compare and analyse the collections of both films.
Airlift was a multiplex oriented film and was also competing against Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 but had the advantage of National holiday. The word of mouth was also super strong. On the other hand, Housefull 3 was a universally appealing franchise film. But in its case, word of mouth is mixed. Still the post IPL period can push the film to 120 crore+.
