Housefull 3 is an upcoming comedy film directed by Sajid-Farhad. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon in the lead roles. It is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Housefull 3 is scheduled to release on 3 June 2016.
Houseful 3 is a very popular franchise as its first two installments were huge hits at the box office. The sequel factor has been super hot in the trade in last few years. Though 2016 has been a poor year as far as sequels are concerned. Kya Kool Hain Hum 3, Ghayal Once Again, Jai Gangajaal, Tere Bin Laden 2 have failed to leave any mark at the box office. But none of these films stars a bankable star. With the presence of Akshay Kumar, Housefull 3 is all set to take a grand opening.
Akshay Kumar commands a huge fan following among masses. On the other hand his all films in 2015 except Baby, struggled at multiplexes but his last release Airlift which was a big commercial and critical success. So that will help Housefull 3 to a some extent. The trailer of the film was average but it has been liked by the audience. The first song Pyar Ki Maa Ki is also picking up. It is a comedy film so fans will not expect logics and will only want entertainment. If Housefull 3 manages to do so, then it will be a sure shot hit. Housefull 3 is releasing on post IPL weekend which is an excellent release period. In last few year, there have been many huge grossers released in this period.
There can be negativity around Housefull 3 due to the disastrous performance of comedy films like Himmatwala, Humshakals, Entertainment (also directed by Sahid-Farhad) etc. The film is also coming at a time when only content oriented films are working at the box office. All the successful films of 2016, Airlift, Neerja, Kapoor and Sons, Ki and Ka had excellent to good word of mouth. It will be interesting to see if Housefull 3 can break the streak.
The film will have an excellent opening and will be Akshay Kumar's biggest opener till date. Nowadays word of mouth comes into play with the second day itself. So if it clicks with the audience then the film will show growth over the weekend and will sustain well for 2-3 weeks. But if the content is not there, then there can be heavy drops on weekdays. Housefull 3 will need help from multiplexes to be a huge grosser as the cost are also on the higher side.

Trailer looks average I like comic timing of akki but as this year only contant movies are working so I doubt for houseful 3 to work big let's see what happ
krishnan verdhan meri maa ko sapna nhi aya. teri bahan ayi thi, vo bata ke gai h. jaisa saval vesa jabab. i think u like it.
After watching trailor and the king of comedy also include intire cast it will boom on box office sure! 180+ sure that's not life time but its may be according to me. Exited for rustom also!!!
