Housefull 3 is about to release in two days. The advance booking for the film was started yesterday and so far the response has been decent. But it is not like any bumper or excellent opening.

Most of the tickets have been sold at single screens. On the other hands, there are plenty of tickets available in multiplexes. The advance booking can pick up tomorrow.

The best start has come in North India which is Akshay Kumar's stronghold. East Punjab has a good opening and will have the biggest opening of this year. In Delhi/NCR Region, more than 20% of the tickets have been sold. Mumbai which was leading yesterday had an advance of 15. In Pune, booking was started in limited screens and has received an average response.

The advance booking in Kolkata is 15% which is good. Gujarat and Rajasthan has a poor start despite the fact comedy films do well here. In all other places, it had limited to no advance.

Overall it is a decent start for Housefull 3. The opening can boost up today and tomorrow. This is not a holiday release and in recent time, the trend for advance booking is dying out. Now people are more interested in reviews and word of mouth before going out for a film.

Looking at the advance booking, it is expected that Housefull 3 can have very good occupancy in North India. But it should pick up in other places to have a solid first day. It is expected to collect 17 crore+ on its opening day. Though an ideal target should be 20 crore.
