Housefull 3 has done steady business on Tuesday. The mass centers had a considerable fall however the multiplexes were solid. According to the official figures Housefull 3 5th day box office collection is 7.07 crore.
Akshay Kumar starrer has a pretty good hold on Monday and has repeated the same today. Once again the evening shows had a good turnaround which helped Housefull 3 5th day collection. The hot weather in Northern states and month of Ramadan seem to affect Housefull 3 collection in the first part of the day. The multiplexes were steady but the single screens fall further. East Punjab is doing terrific and will soon enter into the top 2 grossers of 2016 here.
Housefull 3 5th day collection is a decent result. As we reported yesterday, the hold on Tuesday has become important too as 10% drop is acceptable. Though the film is not up to mark in mass centers however the multiplexes can drive this film forward in coming weeks too. The growth in the second weekend will tell us a better picture where this film is going to stand.
Despite the negativity created on social and electronic media about Housefull, the film has lived up to the expectations. Housefull 3 has received a decent response from the audience too. It has already recovered a major chunk of its investment in the first five days itself and will break even after the first week. The film is all set to emerge hit at the box office but it will be interesting to see if it can go on to become super hit.
Meanwhile in overseas, it has been doing terrific business in Pakistan and Gulf. It has earned 50 million PKR in the opening weekend and is the biggest opener for Akshay Kumar. The same is the case with Gulf.
