Housefull 3 has considerable drops in the third week. It was always on the cards as there were new releases that dominated the screen space. Housefull 3 collection in the third week is 4.45 crore.
Housefull has been a very successful franchise, however, a rising trend for the newest version was missing. As Housefull 3 collection were lower than its prequel Housefull 2. But the industry is definitely pleased as the year 2016 has not been the best on record and every surprise on the positive side is welcome.
Housefull 3 box office collection in 21 days currently stands at 107.62 crore. The film has so far minted Rs. 185 crore from its worldwide box office (overseas until its third weekend) and now the film is approaching the Rs. 190 crore mark. The film also had a good run at the overseas box office. In 17 days, Housefull 3 minted Rs. 36.24 crore from the overseas box office and minted good amount of money from the international market.
On its fourth Friday, the film is out from most of the theaters and it will probably add 1-2 crore more to its lifetime run. It will be the second highest grosser of 2016 behind Airlift.
Directed by Sajid-Farhad, the film features Akshay, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon, Nargis Fakhri in the lead roles. The film also features Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
