Neel Sethi-starrer The Jungle Book was not good as Sunday because of holiday. The film has literally set the box office on fire. The houseful shows were reported in all over India on sunday but not on Monday. The Telugu, Tamil and Hindi version also did a good job on Monday.
The Jungle Book box office collection on 4th day will be in the range of 7-8 crore. It takes its opening weekend total to 39 crores. It has recorded the 2nd highest opening weekend of 2016 beating all Bollywood films of 2016 except Airlift.
The Jungle Book saw a mad rush with parents thronging theatres with their tiny tots to watch the new release. With the super word of mouth is translating into box office collections, the film is targeting 100 crore.
The film, with Indian-American actor Neel Sethi as Mowgli, made its way into the screens in Indian a week ahead of its release in the US and UK. In the film, animal characters are voiced by Bollywood stars such as Irrfan Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Nana Patekar, Shefali Shah and Om Puri joined for the Hindi version.
