Gully Boy has shown excellent jump on Saturday by collecting approx 18.65 crores. The growth from yesterday is around 45% which is huge.
The film has again gone on to the opening day levels with the help of multiplexes. It has really clicked with the urban audience which have come in big numbers. Normally metro films show big growth on Saturday but here the film was released on Thursday and opened with strong numbers. Hence the jump on Saturday is significant and means that film has been accepted by its core audience.
The success of the film is almost guaranteed with strong opening weekend. It has been average in mass circuits and it will be interesting to see if Sunday can see any turnaround. If that happens then film could go on to become a big hit.
