Dear Zindagi continues its excellent run at the worldwide box office. The Alia Bhatt starrer not only surpassed expectations in India but overseas performance is also excellent.
In just three days, Dear Zindagi overseas collection stands at $4 million (27.45 cr). North America was always expected to contribute more as the genre was friendly. But it is Gulf which is doing terrific business. That is due to the presence of Shahrukh Khan. Dear Zindagi overseas collection is fourth highest of 2016 and higher than bigger films like MS Dhoni The Untold Story, Housefull 3, Rustom and Mohenjo Daro.
Highest opening weekend of 2016 in overseas
In India, the gross collection has crossed the 45 crore mark in the span of three days. Dear Zindagi worldwide collection is about 72 crore which is a huge number for such a film. It is also highest weekend worldwide grosser for Alia Bhatt.

I watched the movie yesterday and it was awesome. Don't know why the reviews from critics are average. It is a much needed movie for today's generation who are more vulnerable to mental stress

Why In India Box Office Mainly Focus on Nett Collection Not Gross Because Gross Means Total Collection Which a Film Earn By Sold Tickets & Also it Is Good For Business Because If Media Only show the Gross Collection like Dear Zindagi Collect around 45cr in Only 2 Days That will Give a Good impression about the Film Than 32.5cr Like We See For Overseas Collection????
I guess because verdict is based on distributor share which is calculated as per nett collections.....
