Dear Zindagi Monday Box Office Collection: The early trends suggest that Dear Zindagi has a slow start in morning shows on Monday. There is more than normal drop though that was expected already as it is a niche film. Take a look at Dear Zindagi 4th day collection report.
Dear Zindagi has considerable drops in the morning shows as compared to Sunday or Friday. The overall India occupancy was 20%. These are samples mainly from multiplexes in metros and it may have dropped more outside big cities.
Now it has to start picking up in the noon shows. The film was super strong in South and West Bengal. But it was average in North India. The best hold on weekdays always come from traditional Hindi markets in North India so it may not have ideal hold especially if the appreciation is limited. Thus Dear Zindagi Monday collection can have more than normal drop.

Dear Zindagi was a women-centric niche film and there is only a limited audience for such films. But the opening weekend was not normal as there was Shahrukh Khan factor. Mean, that film got more footfalls that the content deserved. But now things will go back to normal as star power factor will fade away from Monday and the content will do the talking.

Dear Zindagi continues to struggle in the noon shows. There was not much improvement in the occupancy as it was around 25-30%. It will now rely on evening/night shows for posting a reasonable Monday total.

hmm. it looks like that film has big drops on Monday. Would love to see SRK fans reaction who were saying that this is Shahrukh khan film after it took good opening. but before release they were saying it is only his cameo
Stardom is important for the first weekend, but the rest depends on the audiance appreciation. And even though this film was Alia's film more than anybody else, we cannot deny the fact that SRK's extended cameo helped it to gain box-office numbers.
Monday's collections should be atleast 4 crore plus and 5 crore will be great. Dear zindgi is definitely one of the best movie of the year.
40-50% drop is not more than usual, it's a bit more than expected but still it's normal after a huge weekend for a woman-centric. The film is already a hit because of worldwide collections anyway, the rest is just for distributors...

i am a fan of all actors..dear zindagi is awesome movie and it teach us something....if someone one want comparsion of dear zindagi and sultan then do it on this basis...first of all dear zindagi is realized on non holidays and sultan was realized on holiday which make difference alot ...2nd dear zindagi is realized on 1200 screens and sultan was on 3500.....3rd dear zindagi is totally based on alia butt and srk has little role as compared to sultan which was based on sallu bai....4th one is last but not the least which is that dear zindagi is a story of everyone nowadays so it relate to the this generation lifestyle and show you solution and sultan which is neither you can relate to your life ,which is just imaginary story .........i say sorry to salman khan fans if they say that i am on the shahruk side ....i just compare two movies not two actors....actors are alll good wether its srk ,sallu bai,amir khan,ajay,akshy ,hritick....
