When Aamir Khan's Dangal was released, no one thought that it will rewrite the box office history. It looks like an offbeat film which was set in a village. However, the film has done an unbelievable and unimaginable business in all over the world.
After breaking records in India, Dangal was recently released in China where it is simply unstoppable. Dangal has collected $3.50 million on the 5th Sunday which has taken the total collection to $166 million in China.
It has become the first Indian film to cross $200 million in overseas. The film has emerged as the biggest hit in overseas in the history of Indian cinema. The worldwide gross is now 1846 crores. Looking at the pace it seems that film will cross 2000 crore mark too.
