On this Friday 6 films - Main Aur Charles, Titli, Guddu Ki Gun, Once Upon A Time In Bihar, Love Exchange and Prithipal Singh are set for release.
Main Aur Charles is a thriller which stars Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadda. It has inspired by true events and told from the perspective of respected Indian cop, Amod Kanth who handled the notorious case of serial killer, Charles Sobhraj. The film has some kind of promotions and buzz. We expect Main Aur Charles to take the best opening from the six releases. It will have around 5-10% start on Friday and then will be dependent upon word of mouth and reviews.
Titli is a drama film directed by Kanu Behl. It has been backed by Dibakar Banergee and Yash Raj Films. The film is mainly targeted at high-end multiplexes. But it belongs to a dark realistic cinema and will find it tough to attract Indian audience. We expect Titli to open around 5%.
Guddu Ki Gun is an adult comedy which features Kunal Khemo in the lead role. The film made some headlines with its trailer. But after then there is hardly any promotions. We expect Gudu Ki Gun to open less than 5%.
This is pre-Diwali period which is not considered good for box office. Shaandaar will also bite the dust in the second week. Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 will benefit from this situation and will continue to make decent money even in the third week.
Tell us what are you box office predictions for Main Aur Charles, Titli and Guddu Ki Gun.
