Bharat 1st Day Box Office Collection: After much anticipation, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's new movie Bharat has released in cinemas today, on the holiday of Eid. Even though the initial buzz was slightly lower as compared to Salman's other Eid releases, the film has set the box office on fire. The phenomena of Salman Khan has translated into a frenzy that seems unstoppable at the box office. Let's take a look at Bharat collection report.
According to the early estimates, Bharat 1st day collection will comfortably cross 40 crores mark. The trend in the evening and night shows have suggested that it can collect in the range of 42-45 crores which would be huge.
Salman Khan starrer was released in 4700 screens and has a bumper opening in the morning shows as the overall occupancy was 65% which was easily the best of this year. It was a huge start in both the single screens and multiplexes. Bharat was the first bumper opener since Aamir Khan's Diwali release Thugs of Hindustan. The occupancy went further high in the noon/afternoon shows as it was around 75-80%. The film showed huge gains in Muslim dominated circuits in the noon which usually happens with Eid releases. The World Cup cricket match can affect Bharat box office collection in the night shows.

Bharat 1st day collection is likely to be the 2nd highest opening day of all time for Bollywood. Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindustan is the highest opener of all time though Bharat is unlikely to beat that. It has a great chance to beat Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and can set new benchmarks in some circuits.
Bharat collection on day 1 will be the highest ever for any Salman Khan starrer. The top 10 list is dominated by Salman Khan as he has 4 films. If it manages to beat Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, then Katrina Kaif will hold the top 2 biggest openers of all time.
