Disney's Beauty and The Beast has derived a massive $170 million opening weekend. It has set an all time record in March which was earlier held by Batman v Superman.
The film has also smashed many other box office records. It has the highest opening weekend of 2017 by beating Logan. It is the seventh highest domestic opening of all-time. In overseas it is expected to collect $180 million. The total worldwide collection is massive $350 million.
Hollywood has delivered back to back hits with Logan, Kong Skull Island and Beauty and The Beast. The combined collection of this weekend was $250 million which is huge.
