Aanand L Rai who has helmed successful films like Raanjhanaa, Tanu Weds Manu, 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns is all set to cast Shah Rukh Khan as a dwarf in his next film. In a recent interview with Times of India, Aanand talks about his upcoming film.
When he was asked how he convinced SRK to play a dwarf, he told.
"There is nothing more than a story. What an actor, director or the audience require is a good story. It hardly matters if you have something very potent to talk about. It's the story that works for all of us. I am working hard and moving towards the final draft of it. I will not take more than a month and will be out with something."
He also talked about the box office performance of Fan.
"Shah Rukh is the most loved actor of the country. He is such an experienced artist. Whether a film works or doesn't work hardly matters as long as the efforts and the intentions are right. It's a part and parcel of life. You move on. It's ('Fan') one of his brilliant performances. These things hardly matter to person who is passionate and knows what he wants to do." I am really looking forward to
Aanand also praised SRK, "I am really looking forward to work with Mr Khan because of the kind of person he is from within. He is such a genuine man."
