A Flying Jatt Trailer Review

Tiger Shroff is a huge Hrithik Roshan fan. He is literally following Hrithik's footsteps as Tiger is playing a superhero in his next film A Flying Jatt. But he is a desi superhero who instead of saving world, uses his powers to woo girls. The first part of the trailer shows some comic scenes where Tiger tries to impress people with his powers but ends up being funny. Then arrives Nathan Jones, who plays the character of an evil and very powerful antagonist. Tiger tries his best to stop the monster. Jacqueline Fernandez plays the role of Tiger's love interest. Amrita Singh is seen as his mother, who motivates him to be the world's saviour.

The trailer is much better than the previously released teaser. The makers have tried to make a mixture of masala, comedy and some action between superhero and villain. While they succeeded in putting the humor element but failed to portray the action scenes. The VFX is pathetic, to say the least, which is a no wonder as the production cost is much less as compared to other superhero films.

But the first half was fun with some comedy, romance and music. It sets a comic tone when Tiger Shroff himself catches fire while saving a little girl and then crash landed on a car. He is continuously bullied by his mother, played by Amrita Singh. However, the makers repeated the same mistake again with the introduction of KK Menon who creates another villain Nathan Jones. As a result, the Flying Jatt has to fight the evil, on land, under water, in the skies, and even on the moon.

A Flying Jatt Trailer Review: Verdict

Overall the trailer is below average. The comedy and music look promising but the pathetic VFX and routine story spoil the fun completely. It will have a solid opening, especially in North India as superhero genre is always hot in the trade. The music will help it further. But the performance after the opening weekend will be doubtful unless the content and story turn out to be extraordinary.

  1. For me its a good trailer and if the movie is also good at least entertaining like Bhaagi then it can cross even the 100cr.. Bcz now Tiger shroff is considered as Mass hero nd Future Superstar

  2. For me the trailer is OK...But I was expecting more from this movie but its only trailer and picture abbhi baaki hai mere dost.....

  3. Bollywood should work on editing trailers.... I mean this is a poorly edited trailer.....Tiger is looking promising in the movie and the fun element will definitely give it an edge....But the trailer lacks appeal....They should have edited it better....No need to show elaborate fight sequences between the protagonist and antagonist.....It seems that the makers have made us visualize the whole film.....It is important to keep the suspense intact among the audience so that they are compelled to go to the theaters.... DC comics are known to have given the best edited trailers.....I think the teaser trailer of Batman v Superman is the best I have ever watched.....More recently, the trailers of Suicide Squad are excellent as they don't show much in them although they have released three trailers of the movie.....We are kept at bay to guess what will happen in the movie....I think Bollywood should also work on these lines.....Anyhow best of luck for Tiger Shroff.....I sure like this guy....He has charismatic personality and he means to stay here....
