Update: The night shows had heavy falls as tomorrow is a working day and the response was also not encouraging. Meanwhile, the heavy rains in many parts of the country did affect the collection a lot in the evening. It is going to collect less now and all will depend on how it fairs on Friday.
As per the official figurese, A Flying Jatt 1st day collection is 7.10 crore. A Flying Jatt has an average start in the morning shows. The overall occupancy was 20-25%. The opening was best in circuits of CI, Gujarat, Delhi and Rajasthan. The kids along with their family had a good turnaround in the evening. But there were heavy rains especially in Gujarat belt where it could not growth much.

Today was a partial holiday due to Janmashtami but that did not help A Flying Jatt a lot. As the initial buzz was low and some of the people did not know that it was releasing on Thursday. Though it will now get an extended 4 days weekend. It was released in around 2600 screens and the screen count will go higher tomorrow.
A Flying Jatt box office collection is an average result on its day 1. That was already anticipated as the promos were dull. A Flying Jatt 1st day collection will be 14th highest opening day of 2016. It has fallen short of a Baaghi by a good margin despite the partial holiday. A Flying Jatt collection on day 1 is also the second highest for Tiger Shroff.
The film needs to maintain the pace on Friday and then to show a solid jump over the weekend. As far the first day, A Flying Jatt has received a mixed to poor response from the audience. Still, we hope that it will pick up especially in the North India.
