The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) is the biggest movie website on the planet, receiving millions of visitors every day. One of the best features on the website is the ‘IMDb Rating’, which is based on user votes and reviews.
In the past few years IMDB has become a source to check out the punlic response about movies. Movies that could not perform well then have got a cult status today because of IMDB. The movies that are rated above 8 are considered to be classics and anything above 6.5 is a good rating.
Check out the list of highest rated Bollywood movies on IMDB.
Aamir Khan has three films in the top 10 highest rated Bollywood films while Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn each have one film in the list.
In last year, there have been many changes. Drishyam has made it to the number one position and has replaced Andaaz Apna Apna. Films like Chak De India, Haider and Gangs of Wasseypur have been vanished from the list.
Another interesting point is that 8 of the film from this list are released after 2000. But the other two (Andaz Apna Apna, Sholay) which were released before 2000 are in top 3.
